The Gisburn Singers and Langcliffe Singers

Mike's interests are not all Canals and Industrial Heritage. He also sings with two choirs - The Gisburn Singers, and Langcliffe Singers. The former is a small group of friends who meet weekly at Gisburn Church to sing a wide variety of songs, from medieval to modern, followed by discussion over a drink, a very sociable choir. They have performed in a variety of places, from Saltaire to Burnley, as well as at weddings and special church days. We could do with another tenor!

The Langcliffe Singers is a much larger choir of around 60, who perform mainly classical music, but again from over a wide time period: from early English music to Howells and Rutter, and even pieces composed for us.

Ready for a performance at Giggleswick School Chapel.
